ok i turned in the first step of my science fair project the question and hypothesis. i got it back and i needed to revise it. here’s my Q-

How does table salt affect an ice’s time to melt compared to ice without salt?

here are the questions my teacher asked.

1. how will you accurately measure the temperature the ice is melting at?(what tool?)
2.how will you control for melting water diluting you r salt mixture?

Well the first questions pretty obvious, a thermometer, a digital one with a probe if you can find one. For the second one, i would set up some kind of tray to put in the beaker or whatever it is that you’re placing the ice in. The tray should have holes in it so that the water can run down to the bottom of the container. Hope that helps, Good Luck! :)
