Ribbon Weave

Does anyone have instructions for the ribbon woven headbeands that are so popular?
I’ve never seen them, so this is a stab in the dark. You’ll need:
1 headband ( with No teeth )
Woven ribbon of your choice
Hot glue and gun
About 1″ from the inside bottom of the headband, apply a small blob of glue. Attach the frontside of the ribbon to this.
Bring the ribbon to the front surface of the band, and apply a dot of glue to the very bottom of the band. Secure th ribbon to this glue dot.
Now take the ribbon and make a 90 degree fold in it.
Apply a dot of glue to the top surface of the ribbon you have secured down. Bring the ribbon ( still folded ) over the glue dot, and secure.
Start wrapping the ribbon around the headband, slightly overlapping the previous wrap each time.
Continue wrapping the headband until you are almost to the end.
When you get there, do the 90 degree fold again ( in reverse )securing with the glue. Bring the ribbon to the back and glue 1″ of it to the back. A good quality ribbon is best to use on this project. Something like a satin or a grosgrain.
